The Institute comprises three divisions, the Commercial Division, Wedding Division, & Portrait Division, enabling the Institute to represent the interests of most professional photographers in New Zealand.
A number of educational events are staged across New Zealand each year for the benefit of members working in the commercial, wedding and portrait fields. With the valued support of corporate sponsor Clendons - Barristers and Solicitors, the Institute has produced a range of standard documentation including Terms and Conditions, Engagement Forms, and other useful items relevant to the Industry.
The Commercial, Wedding, and Portrait Directors are also responsible for convening the Qualification (or Q) Panels which meet on average 4 times per year to assess members' work in commercial, wedding, and portrait photography. If successful, the member is able to display the wording 'Qualified Member of the NZIPP' in either Commercial, Wedding, and/or Portrait photography.
Further information on the Qualification process is available under the Q Programme menu item.
For further information on seminars and events relating to commercial, wedding, or portrait photography, please review the Hasselblad Diary section of the NZIPP website, the monthly NZIPP newsletter PROreport, or the Upcoming Events menu.
