FotoFirst Limited was established in 1981 by Euan "Grumpy" Krogh. Initially, Euan trained as an engine fitter, but soon discovered a passion for photography. He started out as a retail manager, then progressed rapidly through to Technical Sales Representative, then onto Regional Photo Lab Manager , equating to 30 years experience in the photo industry.

Over the years, FotoFirst has achieved a fine reputation for quality, value, we offer a wide range of services, all in house. Two years ago FotoFirst installed a state of the art Frontier Digital MiniLab and last year we installed a Epson 9800 Wide Format Printer for our exceptional Big photograph. There is a continuing growth in the services offered. Pundits List FotoFirst in the top 2% of photo labs (out of over six hundred) in New Zealand.
