Print Submission

The minimum print image area must be no less than 500 sq cm (80 sq in) e.g. 20x25cm (8x10”) or 10x50cm (4x20”). Prints may be supplied loose or mounted, but must be printed to a professional standard i.e. how it would be supplied to a client. The maximum print/mount size is 40x50cm (16x20") i.e print judging size.

 

Transparency Submission

All transparencies must be mounted, but can be a variety of sizes from 35mm up to 8x10”.

All prints or transparencies must be numbered on the back with your four digit pin, followed by a hyphen and a two digit number indicating the viewing order e.g. 1234-01, 1234-02 etc

Digital Submission
Digital files must be supplied to the following file standards:

  • files must be resized to 25.4cm (10”) along the longest edge
  • 300dpi (i.e. longest side is 3000 pixels)
  • Adobe1998 RGB colour space (not grayscale)
  • JPEG setting 12/Maximum (near lossless compression)
  • Matting is not required
  • All files burnt to a CD.

Name the digital files as follows: your four digit pin, followed by a hyphen and a two digit number indicating the viewing order e.g. 1234-01.jpg, 1234-02.jpg etc.

All Commercial submission types must include printed contact sheets of the 12 images submitted with the four digit pin and viewing order printed below the each image. The format required is 2 vertical A4 pages (6 images per page – 2 across, 3 down). The contact sheet is used as a reference when providing feedback to you following the Q panel, it will not be returned.

 

Portrait

Print submissions only. No digital submissions allowed. Images must not all be from a single sitting or of the same subject(s).

12 printed images are required. The minimum print image area must be no less than 500 sq cm (80 sq in) e.g. 20x25cm (8x10”) or 10x50cm (4x20”). OR

An album containing twelve printed and mounted images. The print image area must be no smaller than 500 sq cm (80 sq inches). The album must have a temporary label attached detailing the four digit pin. The photographers name must not appear anywhere in the album.

All portrait submissions must include a printed image contact sheet of the 12 images submitted with the four digit pin and viewing order printed below the each image. The format required is 2 vertical A4 pages (6 images per page – 2 across, 3 down). The contact sheet is used as a reference when providing feedback to you following the Q panel, it will not be returned.

Wedding

Print submissions only. No digital submissions allowed. All images must be from the same wedding.

Images to be presented in a printed and bound wedding album containing not less than 20 images. The album must have a temporary label attached detailing the four digit pin. The photographers name must not appear anywhere in the album.All wedding album submissions must include a printed image contact sheet of all the album pages submitted in viewing order. The format required is 2 album pages per A4 page. The contact sheet is used as a reference when providing feedback to you following the Q panel, it will not be returned.

OR

20 printed images. If submitting prints the image area must be no smaller than 500 sq cm (80 sq in) e.g. 20x25cm (8x10”) or 10x50cm (4x20”). Prints may be supplied loose or mounted, but must be printed to a professional standard i.e. how it would be supplied to a client. The maximum print/mount size is 40x50cm (16x20") i.e print judging size. All prints must be numbered on the back with your four digit pin, followed by a hyphen and a two digit number indicating the viewing order e.g. 1234-01, 1234-02 etc. All wedding print submissions must include a printed image contact sheet of the 20 images submitted with the four digit pin and viewing order printed below the each image. The format required is 4 vertical A4 pages (6 images per page – 2 across, 3 down. Last page with 2 images). The contact sheet is used as a reference when providing feedback to you following the Q panel, it will not be returned.
