The NZIPP is the only organisation in New Zealand with a Qualification Programme for photographers. All members have to go through a stringent qualification programme to achieve 'Qualified Professional' status, which serves as a hallmark of quality to buyers of photography. Qualifications are offered in Commercial, Wedding and or Portrait Photography. Members can specialise in one area, or submit for all three genres.
The submissions are judged by highly qualified panels of judges with one key question in mind: 'Would I recommend this person to shoot a wedding, portrait or commercial assignment? Only those who have demonstrated competence and creative flair across the board will achieve Qualified Professional Status, which earns them the right to be featured on this website.
